Seidman Law

If you are facing criminal charges, you want the strongest defense possible. You need an attorney who has practical courtroom and trial experience. Mr. Seidman is a former Lead prosecutor for the State of Florida. He has extensive jury and non-jury trial experience. This familiarity in how a case is prosecuted allows you and Mr. Seidman to sit down and discuss the likely outcomes of your case and any potential effects the case could have on your future.

Building Your Defense

Title XLVI of the Florida Statutes defines all of the crimes in the state of Florida. An attorney who is familiar with the wording of each statute is not enough. You need an attorney who is knowledgeable as to each element of the crimes listed in the Criminal Code and more importantly knows how to position your case from the first day of representation for the most positive outcome.

The Arrest

The first issue in any drug case is the legality of the original encounter between the accused and the police. We need to know as many details as possible about that encounter, as even minor details can make all the difference.
If the police did not have a 'reasonable and articulable' basis for your detention, all evidence seized must be suppressed, and the police will have no case.

The Charge

Each charge carries a different consequence. You may be facing a simple misdemeanor or a felony which may carry up to a life sentence. It is vital that you understand the ramifications of the charges you are facing, as even a misdemeanor can have serious consequences and completely alter the course of a person's life.
Based on our experience, our law firm will immediately let you know what you are up against.

The Defense

Every drug charge is unique. Strict procedures and laws must be followed in order for the charges to be upheld. Preparing the defense in criminal cases involves investigation of the facts (which includes discovery of the government's evidence and interviewing witnesses, etc.), researching the law and of course, discussing the case with the prosecutor. The point is, we need to get involved in the case as early as possible.
With so much on the line, you cannot afford to chance your defense to an inexperienced attorney.

Our Client Reviews

I have known Jason Seidman for many years. He began his career as a prosecutor in Broward County when he was assigned to be my trial partner. I have watched Jason become a great lawyer and fierce advocate for his clients both in and out of court. Jason serves clients related to Criminal Defense as well as Corporate Litigation matters. Jason's real courtroom experience gives him the edge over opposing lawyers who are usually too afraid to take a case to trial.

Jason represented my son who was charged with Dealing Drugs. He was able to get the charge broken down from a Felony to a Misdemeanor and ultimately get even the Misdemeanor dismissed. He was always available to answer any questions myself or my son had and was unbelievably supportive throughout.

Mr. Seidman represented me in a Grand Theft case where I was improperly charged with a crime. He was extremely attentive to my needs and patiently explained each and every stage of the process to me. In the end he did exactly as he said he would and all charges against me were dropped.
